5 Stories of 50 Words…

1) Deep into the forest she ran. “Dug dug, dug dug.” The sound of the horse could still be heard. Exhaustion has crept in on her. Her legs felt like jelly. She kept on running as she knows what would happen to her if she stop, even for a little while.

2) No. He didn’t mean that way. What does she meant by that? What have he done to her? Why does she act funny these past few days? John. Yes. Probably he could help him out. Get him to understand what really is happening right now. The search for John begins.

3) Is this the feeling of being lonely? Now he knows what Gran meant when he told him years ago. Back then; he was only 15 years old. Too young to understand what Gran meant. He only likes the company of Gran and Gramp’s. He was their baby, their eldest grandson.

4) “Mamasei mamasei mama cosa” goes the song. The dance floor is pack with people. Jam-packed. Showing their moves as the grooves to the beat. Every guy are trying their best to woo the ladies with the moves and the ladies, well taking full advantage of the situation to have fun.

5) He thought he heard something. No, probably just his imagination but he is sure that there was a sound. It came from the attic. Yes. The attic. Who or what could it be? Jim went up the attic, where the sounds came from. “Argh!” it was just actually a dream.

  1. These stories are quite trivial and most of them are just long openers. You need to be able to master story economy and tell a story with the limits given – which is the point of this assignment.
