Hey there. Probably my last post at this wordpress thingy. So before i go AOL. Let us get into a topic thats lingering in my mind lately. People, treat their friend sometimes better than their siblings.

So the question is, is blood thicker than water?

Sometimes people treat their foes nicely so as to what u called it, a reverse psychology. They still treat their friend as the closest person ever but sometimes treat their siblings, family members, somewhat distant. Rather go out with their group of friends than joining in the family outing. Reason being, its boring. Don’t understand. Many important stuff to attend. But when it comes to their friends invitation, it will be, ouh, its been a long time since we met. He/She just came back from overseas and stuff.

To me its just a choice you make. Whether you want it or not. All that is just excuse. And by doing what you did, you are not doing justice to those people who were there by your side 24/7. Give you shelter and stuff. Its like people sometimes took these for granted. Friends, yes they can sometimes be there for you when you need them but Families.

They are the ones that should get your absolute attention no matter how worst they are to you. Because for me, no matter what happens, no matter how worst you or they possibly can be, as a family, we have to accept and forgive for each others lack, differences and sins. Afterall, we are family aren’t we. The blood that runs through each others vein came from that on person you called parents.

These are just my point of view, now lets share what YOU think about this topic. Is blood any thicker than water. For me it is. Because they’ve been through and know more about you than anyone can possible know or understand.

Yesterday, went to Adin’s gig at Presbyterian Church at Queenstown. Met Yixin at the MRT Station before we went together. Pris, Rachel and Denise was there already. Get our pictures taken and stuff. Larris was late. We were the only one that makes a lot of noise. They were too quiet!! Like… QUIET!!!
Then, we all “chabot” midst of the event cause we went there only to watch Adin performed and yeah we also found out YiXin’s secret that day. Naughty missy. Head home at about 11pm.

Have you guys ever heard about people getting barred from taking their exams just because they wore a cap, round neck T’s instead of a collar T’s and wearing jeans instead of Tailored pants?
Well, listen here, i do. How? Because it happened to me, like just now. Went to religious class at Newton and i am about to finish my paper, the Discipline Master called me out. Paper was taken away and was send home.The F thing was, 90% of my classmate wore jeans and 60% of them wore round neck T’s and i’m the only one out of the whole school to be barred just because i told him the reason i wore jeans was that i like wearing jeans and during prophet’s time, there is no jeans and he cannot compare it that way. Argh!!!

Went to Suntec at around 1pm to watch Len at Cosplay and do my Photography project. Went with Adin, Adin’s mum, Daniel(Adin’s fren), Pris and Yixin. It was an eye-opener. Anw, i had fun taking pictures with the company of Adin, Pris and Yixin. We even went to some trouble while taking pictures(to u guys, u know what i mean). Running away from SECURITY!!! haha. Get send off by shopkeeper and get an amazing view of the Singapore Flyer.

Well, you guys lighten up my day with your silly antics. The moments we spend together is the moment i cherished the most. We shall go out more often together. Maybe during the common test. Hahaha coz we ain’t got no common test. Woot woots.

Does Good people EXIST?

Yeah good people do exist. Erm, actually NO but after an incident that happened to me yesterday, make me think again. Well, i used to think that people do good things only to gain recognition. Recognition and Fame. Now, maybe there’s more to it than just recognition and fame. Well you people want to hear my story? Here it is.

Was lazing around in school with Adin, Larris and Joshua. We went to the Atrium from the canteen. Do some stuff on Josh Laptop. We totally forgot about everything because we were enthusiast in making the “Stuff” in Josh laptop. We head to the Library from there. Then, while i’m about to take out my things from my bag, i found out that my laptop wasn’t there.

I WAS DAMNED PANICKED LAH(sorry for the Singlish)!! Adin accompanied me to searched for my Missing Laptop. We were practically scrambling all around the school. Oh erm, maybe not the school but just Atrium and Canteen 1. It was nowhere to be found. Just think for awhile. An iMac lying around in school. Who would not take it? An iMac!

So, yeah, i was scared. Rachel and Denise joined in to help searched for my missing laptop. On Farhan’s advice and Rachel idea, we head down to Student Care to ask….

AND……….. SOMEONE SEND MY LAPTOP THERE! A good kind-hearted soul send a $2.4k laptop to student care to report it as a lost item. Listen. A $2.4k laptop. An iMac. I was literally jumping for joy. The person who send it back is Edwin, a first year student(SOE) and his friend.

Service anyone?

Well, just came home from work. On my way home, i reflect on what had happened. Instead of being inside the kitchen, i was send out to the dining area as there was a lack of waiter. Before i became a cook or Chef apprentice or kitchen crew, i was a waiter. Now being a waiter again temporarily for the night, it make me think about why i love to work at Food and Beverage(F&B) Outlets. You guys might be surprised, but i love working at F&B outlets because i love to serve. Good Service is very important. Though i most of the time received tips from them, it was not the money that attracts me. Seeing your customer smile while you serve them and remember your name, it lighten up your day. Good Service is love by everyone. For you people out there, if you like good service and expect good service, do give a good service to others too because it is a two-way thing. You should give what you expect others to give to you. So do remember this, Good Service starts with you.

Turning it Down? WTF?!?!??!

For some, it may mean nothing. For Others, e.g. Huda, would probably be heard shouting or screaming words full of (“*^&^$%#$%@%$#$^”) “EHEM” colourful words. Well, just now, met up with one of my theater friends for a filming. He was chosen by Yasmin Ahmad(an acclaimed Director from Malaysia) to act in her new movie titled “TALENT TIME” with well-known artiste. Was supposed to go to KL for rehearsals and began shooting in August at Ipoh, Perak. He already read the story, know his role, read the script. Well, sounds like a big break for him rite?

But wait, listen to this. His parents, mom to be exact, doesn’t allows it. Her reasons, she doesn’t know who the director is. He is having a hard time convincing her to let him go. Pursue his dreams before entering NS as he is in his 2nd year JC. He had already gave up. Told him to try one last time to coax her. Well, he’ll try. One last time. Hopefully, his mom would approve of it once she sees Yasmin Ahmad short films and advertisements that is available in Youtube. Good luck my friend. I can only pray for you.

Openers are COOL!!

Came back from school at around 11.45pm. Late rite. haha. Anyway, me and Yixin were helping out Alexis with her Openers. Gave her around 8 or 9 openers. Don’t know if she took it. Creative fluid just kept on flowing and i don’t know why. So i decided to add mine till 15. Cool shit aite. Man, Storytelling is like the most COOL, FUN Class ever!!!! Woot Woot.

Readin me..

After quite sometime missing theater meetings, i came down yesterday. The story was broke down into two parts and they were rehearsing the first part yest. After rehearsals, went out with my theater peeps. Yihan, one of my fren, brought alng a deck of tarot cards. Below is what i found out about me that is quite true and it freaks me out.

The first question to me was quite true. Ask my sister and she would agree.

Even while i’m on my way home, i can’t help but thinking about this tarot stuff. It really freaks the hell out of me.

Its your choice, your pick…

As i was taking a ride home, i had this conversation with Huda about being judged. It makes me think how subconciously, like it or not, we do judge people when we don’t even like to be judged. So does this makes us all a hypocrite when we actually say we don’t judge people based on their appearance and what so ever when we actually do? Does it? Like it or not, we actually does. Okey. I’ll give you a situation. You are new in school. Everything is new. You went to your class. Your teacher takes the attendance. Let’s say she called out erm…”Calvin?” or “Yi Xin?”. I’m sure your eyes would be searching the whole class untill thelather put up his or her hands and you would hear yourself saying, “so this is Calvin/ Yi Xin.” Right at that moment, you are already judging him/her. Confuse? Okey. Let’s take a simple example. When you enter your new school/ class, i’m sure are already judging it. So it is actually up to you to answer when people ask you this question, “Do you like to be judged and why?”. It is a simple yet dangerous question(to me i guess). Think about it.

Its killing me!!!

Today classes were okey i guessed(this sentence sucks). For Introduction to Film, we watched a couple of movies. The second movie, titled “Shadow of a doubt“, was great for a 1960’s movie. I even got an excerpt from the movie. “What’s the point of looking backward? What’s the poimt of looking forward? All i am looking at is today. That’s my philosophy. Today.” – Uncle Charlie.

Anyway, our last class for today was Art and Design. It was a total boredom! And Mr **** is an *** (sorry for the beautiful “STARS” you read). We skipped Art and Design an hour earlier as we(some of us) could not take it anymore. Need to ask Calvin for notes then i guess.

 Haiz. We used the extra hour to take our EZ Link. We then proceed to Sports Complex for the FUN ‘08. Me, Aden, Larris and Yi Xin went high! Though we didn’t won anything, we really enjoyed ourselves. After the competition, we ate at KAP(King Albert Park). Then i head home.

On the way home, taking the MRT from Dover, i was SLEEPING!! The thing was that i almost slept on the lady’s shoulder(she sat beside me). I am sure she was thinking, “Oh my god, this stinking brat is going to fall on me. Argh. Damnit. Wake up please!”. When i woke up it was already at Kembangan. So i alight at the next station. Bedok. Quickly rush home. Home Sweet Home. Not to forget, writing this on my Ultimate Slow Computer! Oshakes.
