Exercise 1A

1. A pungent smells fill the air as a white figure cuts infront of his car. Larris is already wet with sweat. His hands trembled, like it had a mind of its own, as he try to pull the emergency brake. 2. “Please keep silent if you value your life.” says the masked man. Achilles was caught off-guard. It was 1.43 am and Achilles was on his way to the kitchen to get himself a drink when he was attacked from the back by the masked man. He have many things running around in his thoughts like “Will he manage to survive this ordeal?” ,”What do the masked man wants from him?” and “What does he have that is so important to the masked man?”. Now he can only wait. He knows the he could be kill any time. It is all up to the masked man. “Bang!”"Argh!”. Those are the two words Achilles heard. Next thing he knew, he felt a hot, piercing pain as he drops to the floor.

3. Lies. It is all lies. Nothing but lies.A big fat lie. A thought that is running through Adin head’s as he walk past the “Mart”. Li. Yes. Li. Maybe he could help him. That bitch has got to pay.

6. Adrian enters, wearing one of his infamous ties and rummages through the chest. He takes out all of his old weather testing equipment until he chances upon a picture of someone from the past. 7. No one notice him enter the bar. Perhaps no one bothers to. The baseball match was “ON” anyway. He silently creeps in the back room. Inside, Marie was packing some stuff. She wanted to run away. 8. It chuckles as it sees what they are doing. Unknown to them, someone or something is watching them. Their every moves. It knows their weakness now. Tonight, it will strike.

9. Destroy. That’s what they told her to do. Destroy those stuff and get out. “Dugdup, dugdup, dugdup.” her heart pounded as she enter the huge mansion. Fear, terror grip her as she search for the room. “Cling”. Her heart make a leap as if it is about to burst any moment.

10. “The clock is still ticking. Seconds wasted. Every minute counts. Your action means everything. Change it and you’re dead, mister.” says the man in black. Tico can’t do anything but to abide to it. He only hopes that his nation won’t blame him for it once they knew the truth. Right now, not only his country’s honour is at stake but his life as well.

11. “Dup, dup, dup, dup” the ball bounces. He have only one shot. One shot to seal it all. Either he make it or break it. All hopes are stack on him now. Everyone is looking at him. “Here goes.” he speak in his thoughts as he jumps to shoot the hoop.

12. “Marik. Come here.” a voice booming from the hallway. A gnome-like creature appear inside the room with a blink of an eye. “Yes, Master. What is it that you want?” Marik reply in a hush. Unknown to them, a dark figure is in the Mansion. Watching them. Alone.

13.  The area is burning with flying arrows. Swords and Armor are the witness of the the terror. Bloods of the fallen heroes are smeared with those that have cause this inevitable war between the fellowships of the Vrall Kingdom. Tears from the sky show the dampened spirits of the nation heroes as they continue to fight a losing battle.

14. “Immortality is mine for the taking. Bwah bwah bwah! No one shall stop me and i shall see to that!” roared Salix the Dictator as he look out to the open space which is filled with his troops – the “Death Warriors of The East”. Eyes blazing red with vengeance, heart smeared black with hatred, they continued their journey in search of the “Glimmering Topaz”.

15. Hopes are high for Dan to accomplish his last mission. Nothing can go wrong, thought Dan as he continues his task quietly. Kia, on the other hand, is on her toes all the time. Its as if bad things are bound to happen any moment. Beneath them, another world is in a war. The Earth rumble silently denying all logical thinking.
